Having spent over 20 years managing Human Resource and Training departments in a number of organisations Helen set up Helen West Consulting in 2006.
Key areas of responsibility have included Human Resource Strategy, Policies and Procedures, Recruitment and Selection, Performance Management, Discipline and Grievance Handling, Employment Law, Absence Management and Learning & Development.
Some of Helen’s achievements include
- The setting up of a human resource function for a business opening
- Designing and implementing policies, practices and procedures to achieve Investors in People re recognition four times.
- Reducing levels of short term absence
- Designing and implementing an appraisal system
Helen is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
